With the exception of Certified Members, FMC does not verify the credentials, competence, training or experience of any mediator, nor can it make specific recommendations regarding any of its members. Since FMC cannot accept responsibility for any member who fails to comply with codes of conduct or practice standards, members of the public are encouraged to assess carefully the qualifications, and professional and public reputation of the mediator.
