Larry Kahn is a partner at Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP and was called to the Bar in 1972. He has practiced family law for over 45 years. As part of his family law practice, Larry has significant experience in adoption and reproductive technology law. He has been a family mediator for over 35 years and has conducted family law arbitrations for 20 years. He is a designated Chartered Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator by the ADR Institute of Canada, and a Certified Family Arbitrator by the ADR Institute of B.C. (ADRBC). He is also a member of the BC Hear the Child Society and has been retained to prepare Views of the Child Reports.
In 2008, Larry was appointed Queen’s Counsel. He was a Judicial Justice of the Peace (Small Claims) from 2008 to 2017.
Larry is a member of the Canadian Bar Association – Family Law Subsection and other family law organizations in Canada and United States. He was a member of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA) from 1991 to 2017.
